Didier holds a B.Sc & M.Sc. in mechanical engineering (ISAT, Nevers-F) and a PhD in the field of Additive Manufacturing – Binder jetting on powder bed (Daimler AG, University of Stuttgart).
Didier became involved in additive manufacturing in 2002, when he was completing his final internship. He was R&D manager at ExOne for 6 years (binder jetting on powder bed for casting moulds), followed by a break from the AM industry and a spell as Design Engineer for machinery for the textile industry.
In 2015, Didier joined ARBURG at their headquarters in Lossburg, Germany, where he is since responsible for the additive manufacturing activities in Western Europe.
In 2022, ARBURG GmbH + Co KG consolidated all their additive activities in a newly created sister company, ARBURGadditive GmbH + Co KG. Under the umbrella of ARBURGadditive, the three additive technologies—ARBURG Plastic Freeforming, FDM technology of InnovatiQ, and Liquid Silicone Additive technology of InnovatiQ are combined.
